What is the Virtual Benefits Fair?
The Virtual Benefits Fair is a virtual way to learn about your benefits. On Jan 14 and Jan 15 from 10 am-5 pm PT, you can chat with benefit experts in real time, and attend live presentations.
Do I need to attend the full duration of the fair?
You can come and go as you like. We recommend that you prioritize attending the presentations and vendor booths that most interest you.
Do I need to register to attend?
Yes, you will need to register to enjoy all the features of the fair, which includes the opportunity to earn points towards a Nordstrom gift card!
How do I log in on the day of the fair?
After you register, your login details will be emailed to you.
Who should attend the fair?
All employees and their families can benefit from attending. Some benefit plans have specific eligibility requirements, but most of the information being presented is valuable for all employees. Note, many benefits are free and/or are available upon hire.
Can I invite my family members to the Virtual Benefits Fair?
Sure! They can register using their own personal email address. They can register and attend the fair by using this site: https://nordstrom.vfairs.com/.
How do I know what benefits I'm eligible for?
Eligibility depends on your employment status, hours worked, and other factors. Visit the Benefits Eligibility booth during the fair to learn more.
Where will the Virtual Benefits Fair be held?
This is an online event. You can participate anywhere you have internet access. The best user experience is from your computer or tablet, but mobile devices are compatible as well.
What is the preferred browser?
Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge are supported. Internet Explorer is not supported.
Do I need to download or install any software to attend the fair?
No, you’ll only need access to the internet.
The live presentation times are not convenient for me. Can I still participate in the fair?
Yes, the live presentation sessions will be recorded so you can watch them when it's convenient for you. Recordings and access to informational materials will remain open 24/7 and available through Feb 15.
How does the Chat feature work?
Please see the Chat Guide to learn how to chat with vendors during the fair.
Who will I be able to chat with?
At the Vendor Hall, there will be 21 vendor booths where you’ll be able to chat with benefits experts. And, most speakers will also save time for Q&A at the end of their presentations at the Presentation Stage.
Will my chats be private?
Your public chats will be viewable by those who are in the same chatroom, and in recordings following the event. Please do not share personal information. If you wish to speak privately, you can initiate a private chat with a vendor by clicking the vendor rep’s name. Private chat transcripts will not be shared with Nordstrom.
Will I be able to take away any information or brochures from the fair?
Yes, you can collect informational materials to your virtual tote bag. From your tote bag, you’ll be able to email these informational materials to yourself or family members.
What is the leaderboard for?
Let’s have some fun! Visit the Leaderboard in the Lobby to see all the different ways to earn points. You’ll also have visibility to see the highest point earners on the leaderboard. Points can be earned from Jan 14 through the end of the day (11:59pm PT), Jan 15.
Are there prizes?
Yes, we’re looking forward to your participation and will offer prizes! The 10 highest point earners from Jan 14 – Jan 15 will win a Nordstrom gift card, ranging from $75 - $300 in value. We will also have a drawing for 10 additional gift cards for employees who listen to recorded presentations from Jan 16 – Feb 15. Please note, prizes are taxable. Employees who win a gift card for the top leaderboard points totals will not be eligible for the additional drawing for watching recorded presentations. In the event of a tie, the winners will be chosen by a random drawing.
Am I paid for the time I spend at the Nordstrom Virtual Benefits Fair?
Your participation in the Benefits Fair is voluntary, and if you choose to attend, you will not be paid for this time.
